Friday, Mar 4, 2005 - 12:00 pm The team has begun to arrive and we are excited about what God is going to do this week! Saturday, Mar 5, 2005 - 12:00 pm The team is here in Mobile and the weather is beautiful. We will not be starting construction today because the slab is being poured. The rain here has slowed things down a little. God's timing is always perfect but we do not always understand it. Sunday, Mar 6, 2005 - 1:00 pm We worshipped with Sonrise today and enjoyed an awesome meal together after the service. This afternoon we will relax and spend time together with the team members that traveled to Mobile. We sure do miss the team members that were unable to be with us this week. Monday, Mar 7, 2005 - 12:30 pm Construction began at 6:00 am this morning and most of the walls were standing by the end of the work day. We are looking forward to fellowshipping together tonight as we gather for praise and testimony. Tuesday, Mar 8, 2005 - 6:00 pm The day dawned beautifully after a night of rain and construction continues as planned. Despite the wind, the trusses are already going up. The walls will be near completion today and the sheathing is being hung on the exterior walls. Wednesday, Mar 9, 2005 - 12:00 pm Building continued at an amazing pace today. The forecast called for rain but the weather was perfect. The walls are almost finished. The sheathing is going on and the trusses are not far from being completed. The main beam for the sanctuary will be hung in the morning. The decking is started and going on fast. Thursday, Mar 10, 2005 - 7:00 am The dinner and praise service were awesome last night. God moved in a powerful way! A man received Christ here on the site today! Praise the Lord. This is why we are here. Construction continues this morning on the next to the last day of our trip. Everything is coming together fast. The decking is almost completed on the front half of the building and the shingles are going on. Friday, Mar 11, 2005 - 6:00 pm It is our last day of construction and all of the decking that can be installed is up. The rafters for the sanctuary are installed and the shingles on the front of the building are almost complete. Today at lunch Mike Dravis shared a powerful message about continuing our mission work after this project is over. He said we should continue our missions wherever we are every day and not just while we are on site with the Mobile Baptist Builders. It is sad to see everyone go on Friday because we truly are a family. Be safe and God bless you all. We will see you in June for our next project in Moscow, Idaho. Please stay tuned for more information, which will be posted on this site as such information becomes available. Here am I; Send Me -Isaiah 6:8
